I was asked something I haven’t been asked in a long time. Someone asked me what my favorite cigar of the year was. I’m sure there is no surprise that my favorite cigar of the year is an Oveja Negra product. No it’s not a factory exclusive. No it’s not a shop exclusive. To be transparent, I don’t smoke much of other brands. But my favorite has to be the Black Label Trading Co. Deliverance Porcelain.
For awhile, I was thinking the Black Works Studio Killer Bee Connecticut was it for me. Killer Bee Connecticut showed what a Connecticut should be. The most sold wrapper in the world is Connecticut, but to me it’s rarely been done right. Usually it’s very crappy quality. It’s usually not fully processed, green & bitter. Connecticut shouldn’t be that. It should be golden, creamy with a buttery mouth feel, just like the Killer Bee Connecticut & not taste like a cigarette, like many other Connecticuts have been.
Now the Deliverance Porcelain shows what you can do with Connecticut. It does not lack in flavor. It has a depth to it like no other Connecticut. That spice will tickle every inch of your tongue. And that retro hooks you. It makes you wanting more & more.
If you were like me & skeptical of Connecticut, I implore you to get your hands on a Deliverance Porcelain. Try the Killer Bee Connecticut first (if you can find them) then smoke that Porcelain. You’ll see what I’m talking about.
James Brown is the Bruce Lee of Broadleaf, Head Honcho of Habano, Lich King of Ligero & now I’m adding a new title, the Kubrick of Connecticut.
