WHAT IS HOLDING YOU BACK?
Why are you not taking action towards living your happiest, healthiest life?
Is it a busy job?
Not wanting to miss out on your social life or travel?
Your kids at home and limited time to yourself?
Maybe all of the above?
Putting your finger on the thing (or things) that is holding you back can make it so much easier for you to overcome it, rather than just struggling against “something”.
🔹Busy job? ➡️time blocking and establishing boundaries can free up time and make it easier for you to hit the gym anyway (e.g. “I will not work after 7pm” or “after 10hrs is my cut off time”). Prepare food in advance or use healthy meal services to keep nutrition on point.
🔹Tight finances?➡️Cooking healthy and working out does not have to be expensive. Bodyweight workouts, running, free community circuits, YouTube workouts... also for the cost of nothing. Shop veggies in season, buy frozen or canned vegetables, rice or canned fish is super cost effective...#noexcuses
🔹Social life and dream body? ➡️yes, it is possible! Admittedly, at times you may have to prioritise one over the other, or make cuts in regard to how much alcohol you are drinking or cake you are eating, but if you are able to compromise, plan ahead and work hard when you don’t play hard, you can certainly have both.
🔹Kids and family making it hard to find some “me time”?➡️first off I should say that I don’t have children so I don’t exactly know what I am talking about, but this phrase has helped may of my clients “You can’t pour from an empty cup!”. Meaning, in order to look after other well, you need to look after yourself first. Find a gym that offers child care, take turns with a friend to watch the kids, don’t finish off your child’s food (you are not a trash can),... make yourself a priority!
