Doing some leg work, really trying to slowly increase my weight on these 🤘🏻
Okay first off we're not going to talk about my messy room (laundry day🙄, always hang dry your leggings ladies) BUT i had a realllyyyy freaking good leg (quad focused) day i literally almost ate 💩 walking down the stairs to leave 🤣 for the longest time i never felt super tired & already sore after my workouts and the past couple months i have been going hard af so i'm super happy about that!!! I always used to see people talking about "mind to muscle connection" and i never could understand it but now I really am focused on it and i think that's why my workouts have been so bomb lately! I haven't posted on here since last year. I'm not really sure how to explain how frustrated I am. I was doing so well with my fitness goals. But life really hit me in the face last year. Pretty tough breakup , leading to a year of negativity. And then on top of that I changed universities and put my self through alot of stress. I really didn't have working out as my top priority. But this year is so different. I've been working out regularly...but haven't been feeling passionate about what I'm doing. So I looked back. Back to 2015 to a simpler time. I loved the feeling of seeing the change and people noticing said change. I thrived off that. But that's a pretty flimsy foundation to build a lifestyle out of. Compliments fade and so does the attention. I want to train and be an absolute machine. I want to shock myself. I want to be so fit that I could be mistaken for a ninja. You feel me? Looking back to see my varied body phases. I want a permanent change this time. I just want to be happy. Now I have blocked the negative out of my life , it's time to focus. .

Found a good throwback! On the left i was at MY heaviest! 145lbs in June 2017. Fast forward to today, 127lbs in February 2019. I have yo-yo’d, binged, overate, ate crap, ate healthy, was vegan, vegetarian, keto, paleo, low carb, high carb, portion control... all over the place the past 2 years!!!! Now i track macros in a caloric deficit & im IN LOVEEEE! Losing fat every week and lifting heavy. I hope i never look back! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Okay, I’m back.  Sorry for being MIA for a little while.  It was finals week in grad school land, but now that is over and I’m on to my FINAL quarter of classes! 🎉

Anyway, here’s today’s carbohydrate lesson: fiber!  Fiber is a crucial carbohydrate because it can help with digestion, cholesterol, and glucose levels, as well as reducing the risk of developing type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.  If you are someone who watches your fiber intake, you may notice that you feel full a lot faster when you’re eating food high in fiber. This is a great thing to know if you tend to overeat. By ensuring you’ve got adequate fiber in your diet, it could help cut down on the overall number of calories you eat!

Fiber is found in many sources, such as some fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grain breads, rice, and pastas.  It’s best to consume a variety of these sources to ensure you are getting a different fibers, each of which plays a different role in your body.  The USDA recommends that most adults consume between 21 and 30 grams of fiber each day; however, many adults consume only half this amount! What are some easy ways that you can ensure you’re eating adequate fiber each day?

Time to transform! Happy #transformationtuesday lovers 💞

These pics are taken roughly 3 weeks apart and although there isn't huge change I still see changes nonetheless and I am super proud of myself for that. Last night I had a hard time sleeping literally excited for how my body will change over the next 4 or 5 months. I created a detailed plan for how much longer I'll work in gaining muscle (aka building my booty, building my upper body strength (I'm weak af there) and tightening my core). Then after that time is up I'll go into my calorie decifit to lose more fat and get a more toned look for summer. I'm so stoked!
I know a lot of people tend to think that you can get ripped (or at least have a 6 pack) while building a booty or gaining muscle and sorry to let the cat outta the bag but that's just not the case. You can tone up and make your muscles stronger but not physically larger while on a calorie deficit. This is why for the last 2 ish months I've been eating more carbs and protein than before. I can see some changes in my body slowly coming and I'm super stoked for what's ahead.
Also I think I see some abs starting to peak through a bit more 😀🤞Happy #tuesday babes 💞

Al final no se trata tanto del % de grasa que tienes, ni de las fotos que subes...
Como cualquier otro viaje, se trata de la persona en la que te conviertes. Creo que luchamos mucho por no cambiar, nos resistimos a convertirnos en algo no familiar... Todo el mundo nos ha metido en la cabeza que el cambio es malo, con frases como "ya no eres como antes", "por qué actúas diferente", "pero antes no te gustaba esto" etc.

Mientras en el mundo y en nuestros alrededores se vive un constante cambio, por qué diablos te resistes?? Es OBVIO que vamos a EVOLUCIONAR.

No es cambio, es EVOLUCIÓN, las cosas ya no son como ayer, ni el minuto anterior así que acéptalo y transfórmate, descubre el millón de versiones que puedes ser. EVOLUCIONA, cambia de look, de actitud, de filosofía, de trabajo, de reglas, de visión, de percepción! No tiene NADA de malo. Que aburrido ser la misma persona de hace 5 años no? No te resistas, es normal, si cambias y la gente comienza a hablar... Bueno, es su problema 🙃 el viaje es tuyo .
RE INVENTATE las veces que quieras, nadie tiene descifrada esta vida y peor la persona que quiere ser
