[Bento échelle 1:10]
What I brought back from Japan : a reflection on Bento and architecture, a discovery of how Japanese read seasons, and most of all a culinary partner : @masahiro_tainaka . We had the chance to meet again in Paris and did this : we created bento boxes. Each box was a part of the house where this food experience happened. So you eat in a bento which represents the place where you eat the bento... see ?
Interior architecture divided each bento differently and we agenced food in a new way in each box.
The menu was a japanese-french fusion and thought to give a hommage to the relationship between Japanese people and seasons : say goodbye to the season that ends, enjoy the current season, and feel the first hints of the next season (concepts of #nagori
So the menu enhanced in 3 chapters :
the last summer vegs (say goodbye to summer, on the rooftop)
The products of fall (enjoy fall in the house)
The hints of Christmas spices in a desert (feeling the winter, on tiles)
