QUALITY SALT + WATER 😜⁣

In all seriousness, I know that this can be a common issue for many of you. In most cases, dizziness, feeling light-headed, or experiencing headaches can be traced back to two things.⁣
-⁣
Dehydration and Low Electrolytes.⁣
-⁣
By combining a high quality salt (sea salt, pink Himalayan, celtic) with filtered water on a daily basis, many of these symptoms will start to diminish.⁣
-⁣
As most of us already know, our bodies are 70% water, yet many of us don't get nearly the amount of water we need on a daily basis.⁣
-⁣
Not getting enough water can negatively affect your mood, concentration, endurance, and brain function. Aim to get 90 to 120 ounces per day.⁣
-⁣
Additionally, in order feel your best and have proper brain function, your sodium and potassium levels need to be in the right range.⁣
-⁣
Regular table salt or the sodium you find in processed foods does not help with this issue, however, adding 1/2 a teaspoon of high-quality salt (that contains trace minerals) to your water a few times a day can have tremendous effect on how you feel during your fast.⁣

I personally have a big glass of salt water as soon as I wake up every day and have not experienced any symptoms of dizziness since adopting this protocol.⁣

If you want an easy feel-good yes from prospects... it's all in creating a mind-blowing customer value journey.

A few mistakes I see all the time:
🌪Constantly switching your strategy... "I help people make 5-figures" - "Oh wait, I help them make 4-figures." - "Ahh crap, I don't make any promises because ya know - that's too stressful."

This is not a good look and it will create a divide of trust. If you don't know what you do and how you do it, how can you expect others to? Get straight with what you offer and how you deliver it.

📈Not having a strategy at all. I get it, when you first start your business there's a lot of guessing and you will actually try things just to see if they work. Overtime, you must fall into a consistent stride and perfect your approach.

Without a strategy you won't know where you're leading your clients and they will end up feeling lost. The likelihood of them buying from you is less than 10%

🤷🏼‍♀️Not knowing your ideal clients pain-points, desired outcomes, and most importantly her average day and status.

If you want to make your customer value journey a high-valued experience, you must speak her language NOT just about her feelings or about what she has or doesn't have... it MUST be about the ultimate outcome she desires.

From the moment she discovers you all the way to the buy button... the CVJ must be an experience full of transformation - then you'll get the YES every single time!

👯‍♀️ TAG a babe you want to try this with. Then grab your booty band and let’s make that peachy extra freakin’ juicy! ⠀
This is perfect to do if you have knee pain OR if you are just feelin’ like loungin’ around the house with dog but still want to get your booty burn on!

Tips: stop kicking, jerking, and doing obscure movements that have zero control or activation of the glutes. If you aren’t isolating you are likely one donkey kick away from throwing out your back.

Lying Leg Lifts: this has a pulse at the top to keep more time under tension. Foot is flexed, Think of your outside foot hitting the ceiling as you contract your outer glutes. 12 reps / side X 4 sets

Hydrant to Kick Out: with hands under shoulders, think of your knee hitting the wall as you rise it up to hip level and then while under tension kick your leg outwards and return. 12 reps / side X 4 sets

Leg Crossover: your glutes are driving this exercise as you tap your toes down on either side of your stationary leg. When you lift your leg think of squeezing your upper glutes. 12 reps / side X 4 sets

Bridge Walk-out: your back should be straight with glutes flexed as you walk one foot out and follow with the other and bring your feet back in, repeat on the other side. 12 reps X 4 sets

Leg Abduction: feet are flexed with heels coming up towards the ceiling, raise your legs up until glutes are engaged and then pulse outwards into your abduction. 12 reps X 4 sets

Most common excuse I hear is " I dont have time to go to the gym or do ____ "

Do you plan out every minute of your day and struggle with finding space? I feel like when I am working on a task, that time flys by and I still have other tasks I want to do.

You're most likely someone who has to work, do some work on a computer or paper, cook food, do some running around uptown, workout, bring your dog for a walk, go to your appointment, and so on. Everyone's schedule is different and on most days, are busy.

Here is a QUICK TASK I want YOU to try out to find more spare time in a day: . ➡️ Take a break every hour. This can be stretching, going for a quick walk, get a coffee. Your brain needs a break after a while.

➡️ Get a productive planner. You fill it out in the morning before you do anything. You write down what tasks you want to complete that day, that will leave you feeling satisfied.
.
➡️ If you're working on a project, assignment, or something that you can take a break from, set a timer for 25 minutes. When that goes off, take a BREAK for 5-15 minutes! .
➡️ Take a break from your phone or socail media. Your brain will thank you. Get out and be physical, do something productive.

Thinking Keto or a Low Carb diet might be good to help you lose weight?

Before you go all hardcore on no carbs. Just think about this science if you have #hypothyroidism:
.
Thyroid needs carbs. Thyroid hormones are CRITICAL to maintain and regulate carbohydrate/energy metabolism.
.
That energy (glucose) from carbs helps fuel thyroid hormone production.
.
Parts of your brain work for thyroid hormone regulation – the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland – need glucose to function.
.
In fact, the boss regulation hormone, called Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), is made up partly of glucose molecules.
.
So could LOW CARB make your condition worse? Possibly.
.
I don’t blame anyone for wanting to try it out. I did Keto off and on for 2 years. I had hypothyroidism. Did I lose weight? Mehh..like 2 kgs / 5 lbs and then nothing. BUT WHY?
.
I saw fitness influencers doing KETO being shredded AF. “WHY is KETO not helping me? WHY am I not losing weight on a low-carb diet...”
.
Everyone else in their mother was losing 10 lbs...5 lbs..etc. But it just goes to show you that not every diet works for every BODY.
.
And you know what? Not every BODY is for a low-carb diet plan.
.
And you don’t have to do one if you’re not feeling it. Also, if you have Hypothyroidism, it could make your thyroid function much worse.
.
Personally, I like my carbs like fruits,quinoa, legumes...And I’m so HAPPY that I eat them (and don’t count calories ANYMORE). .
Being almost 10 horrible years on low carb diets...well I LOVE my life now and being 17.6 lbs slimmer.

2 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD STOP WEIGHING YOURSELF⁣

❎1. The scale is the least effective measurement tool for progress.⁣

Weight fluctuations happen daily. For women this is even more drastic due to hormone changes. Also, due to a variety of factors our bodies often change physically before the scale reflects it.⁣

🌟Measurements and progress pictures are the best (and free) ways to identify progress on a consistent basis.⁣

❎2. A number is just a number, not the whole story.⁣

Have you ever heard the phrase "muscle weighs more than fat"? Technically it doesn't WEIGH more, 1 lb of fat = 1lb of muscle. ⁣

But muscle is MORE DENSE than fat, meaning 1 lb of muscle takes up significantly less space on your body. This means you could actually gain weight but be leaner/tighter. A specific weight is not synonymous with a specific body composition.⁣

🌟Many people make full body transformations and look drastically different, but weigh the same.⁣

👍There is SOME merit to checking weight, so try limiting to once per week: same day, same time, immediately after waking up and using the bathroom. This will give you the most accurate results.⁣

❗If you find yourself jumping on the scale multiple times a week and it starts to feel obsessive, take a step back for awhile.⁣

💯Focus on non-scale victories: how you feel, how clothes fit, how you perform in the gym and the other forms of measurement.⁣

Try weighing every 2 weeks or once a month instead to ensure you're using it as an objective tool and not to define your self-worth. 🙏💜⁣

Convertible season is upon us as the calendar does its yearly twist.

Some prefer the diverse vibrant colors of Fall, replete with pumpkin spiced everything and the dynamic rivalry of football.

Others embrace the glistening whites of Winter. Complete with winding ski trails and familiar conversation around a crackling fireplace.

Still many enjoy the sun-soaked weather of Summer. Embodied by rolling beach waves and charcoal fragranced air.

Despite the apparent advantages of each season, my proclivity has always been towards Spring.

Nothing quite represents Spring like its distinct sounds: kids laughing on a playground, lawn mowers chewing designs into beautiful landscapes, robins chirping in a nearby oak tree, and the sweet crack of a baseball bat along with the thunderous roar of the crowd.

The warm breeze of Spring, just cool enough for a cozy hoodie, is a welcoming change from the chilling bite of Winter.

And as the melting snow gives way to blooming tulips, it’s easy to see our own opportunity to blossom.

Hope SPRINGS eternal.

👉🏼 Okay so now that I have your attention I want to tell you why it’s a bad idea to loose fat fast! You want to make sure that you’re doing it in a healthy way. 😝 Losing fat fast for most of the population is very unsustainable! Typically the faster you loose it the faster you’ll gain it back. This is for a few reasons!
.
1️⃣Being in a deficit for a long time slows down your metabolism much more than simply cycling in and out of one. If you cut calories for too long your body will adapt and your cutting calories will become your maintenance calories. Then to see more progress you’ll have to keep lowering your calories which is unsustainable. Cycling in and out of deficit will prevent this from happening.
.
2️⃣It starves your body of the nutrients it needs! If you continue to cut your calories in Poteau and then cut again in plateau and then continue to cut. Eventually you’ll have to be eating so few calories that you physically will not be able to get the vitamins and minerals that your body needs.
.
3️⃣Major restrictions can lead to developing a poor relationship with your food, with your body, and with exercise.
.
4️⃣This kind of behavior can cause extreme of rebounds. Feeling restricted for prolonged periods of time usually leads to binging, regaining the weight back, plus more. .
Long story short, be kind to your body and trust the process 🌟

💥50g coconut flour
💥1 tbsp coconut oil
💥1 scoop chocolate protein powder

💥30g coconut sugar

Blend it all in, I recommend blending the beans first and then adding the other ingredients. Pour mixture in a tin over baking paper and bake for 25 minutes at 180 degrees. Add toppings-I used coconut, almonds and melted dark chocolate! -

1. I’ve had a crush on this pretty lady you see in this picture with me since I was 13 years old.

2. I have an 18 month old baby girl, maybe you’ve seen her in some of my posts before. She already reminds me of her mom so much that it’s a little scary. I’m beginning to understand why her Pops (grandpa) tried to keep me away from his daughter back when we were teenagers. I now hold no grudges. 🤷‍♂️

3. I like cereal. Like I REALLY like cereal, but I’m on a diet right now to shed a few lbs. Which makes me really crave cereal, because I know I shouldn’t have it. I feel like this is the 3rd most important fact about my life at the moment.

I wasn't always the biggest fan of vegetables but after consuming more of them over the last few years, I think it's really important to know why you should even start!⁣

Here are the 5 reasons to incorporate more vegetables into your meals and snacks:⁣

1️⃣Low in fat and calories!👏⁣

2️⃣Vegetables are important sources of many nutrients, including potassium, dietary fiber, folate (folic acid), vitamin A, and vitamin C‼⁣

3️⃣Diets that are rich in potassium may help to maintain healthy blood pressure!💉⁣

4️⃣Vegetables are high in fiber and will aid in the digestive process. Don't forget to drink your water when you add in more vegetables and you can aim for 25g of fiber per day!🥕🥒🥬⁣

5️⃣ Eating more vegetables like Carrots, sweet potatoes and pumpkin, which have Betacarotene, and lutein, found in kale, papaya and spinach are potent antioxidants, important for normal skin cell development and healthy skin tone!👈⁣

You know what blows my mind - we will spend money on a car payment for a nice vehicle, clothes, name brand shoes, make-up, out to dinner 2-3 times a week, Apple watches, the latest and greatest IPhone, all this materialistic stuff but most of us have a hard time budgeting for a coach to help with something that we live in indefinitely, something that impacts us mentally and physically every single day - our bodies. .
We as humans sacrifice and want to impress other people so bad by having more things to flash off, that we can always somehow budget for little materialistic things but yet put our lives and bodies on the back burner - for what? This goes beyond any “physique goal” you have, this is about how you feel mentally and physically inside your own skin. I know when I wasn’t taking care of myself on the inside and outside - it left me lonely, sad, depressed. Is my life 100% happiness all the time now? No, of course not but I can say since I changed my lifestyle and started putting my physical self and health first - it changed SO MUCH and the physical outcome was just a bonus.

I get it, I love food, I hated exercising - I GET IT, I UNDERSTAND, it’s hard. But life is hard, work can be hard, struggling every day to love yourself is hard, not being able to be confident in yourself is hard, not being able to do things physically is hard. Im not saying it’ll be easy, but I guarantee it’s a lot easier then the way you are living now and I promise it does get easier.

Thankful. I would never blame anyone for my depression. My marriage didn’t work out. Not his fault. Sometimes things don’t come together and it’s really a lesson we both had to learn.
