Wow, I can't believe the difference between these photos. In the first one I was in a bad relationship and had a bad relationship with food. He always wanted pizza and beer and all we did was sit around.
I've had the ultimate glow up, my new outlook on life and my new relationship has transformed me. We have always bonded over health and wellness and we really do hype each other to keep going and keep succeeding. I'm so thankful for the life I have now and for my soul mate, who truly is the most amazing man I've ever met. It just goes to show how much self love and surrounding yourself with the right people can enhance your life. 💗

A little bit of recovery training today- 30 minute easy spin followed by two recovery run miles with the hubs! No lasting aches or pains from yesterday so I feel like that is a win! Well, besides my hip flexor which was talking a but before the race even, but that will be fine. Excited to do my first ramp test on the bike tomorrow night! Hoping to see loads of improvement by the end of the summer!

😱 Get comfortable getting uncomfortable. That’s what happened today in my first-ever Surrender to Be class at @lifetime.life. My goal for this year is to slow down and be mindful, and today’s Yin-style yoga + meditation was just what I needed.

☺️ Learn to feel discomfort, push past it, move through it, and then be still. Breathe. It was quite uncomfortable for me to just... be. Passive. Not active. I’m always active. Muscles are always tense (usually), especially in the types of classes I teach.

woke up at 10am with the love of my life. we decided that work today would take place at one of my fave coffee shops @dwellcoffeeandbiscuitsfw so I ended up with an oat milk matcha latte (unsweetened) and spent the morning doing trainings for my team and talking with my Fit Friends club about meal prepping! ⠀

One year ago I was just finding my place in the coaching world. I didn’t have that many clients, I wasn’t the best at what I did- but I kept trying. I kept working my booty off even though I wasn’t making tons of money. Now, I’ve quadrupled my monthly income from last year and I have the freedom to work my biz on a Sunday morning from a coffee shop- so yeah, I’m pretty freaking grateful💕⠀

I've take Snowflake for a few runs before but having the ability to have her by my side without holding on to the leash is great! Got in 10.7 on the BWI loop today 🙌 Wanted to keep the run under 2 hours (did it, just barely), and my pace under 12:00 (killed it with an average pace of 11:13!) Glad my husband basically shoved me out the door and I got it done. I was feeling SO hungry since the halfway point in my run that I used my snack stash in my car as motivation to get back a little faster. (I think it worked?) Wore my fly out vest & tights, long sleeve flyte top, balega gaiter around my neck and nuun gaiter like a headband. It was perfect until the wind picked up. 🤦‍♀️ Also saw Air Force One on the drive home. Yes. At BWI. 🤷‍♀️ Now for a shower and a nap to warm up.

Showed up, got it done, brought home the buckle bling at the @austinmarathon ( did the half )... also buckled down nearly 1500ft elevation gain to credit my @yancycampofficial #ElevationChallenge account 🤪💪Wont lie, not my fastest race, even 5 minutes slower that 3M half marathon a few weeks ago. Ooof #thosehills ... It's hard (for me) to train all out speed as a runner and do the gym and #spartantraing stuff I love ... and so I BALANCE, meaning I'm a lil slower. But stronger! Big competitive race with at least 10,000 in the #halfmarathon field and still finishing top 2% in women, across all ages. A slip to 5th in the 50-54 AG 😕 (props to those speedy ladies ahead and to ALL the finishers). Really tried to focus on my form when legs fatiguing and averaged a 192 cadence, thanks @runrx Now a nap.

Yeah so this bridge is covered in ice 😳 — started my run in ❄️ then it switched to 🌨 and ended in 🌧

I wanted to turn back after the first mile but pushed through to get 6 done. I must say most of my recent runs have been pretty lackluster but today I felt like a badass ... that is until I had to cross the bridge covered in ice 🤦🏻‍♀️ maybe running in the ice wasn’t the best idea but hey I got it done!! But I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t have to be all or nothing. One day of ignoring your goals can easily turn into one week, one month, one year 🥺 ... So next time you have that day and you think you can’t get in a workout, when the little one(s) is finally asleep and you flick on the tv to see who got a rose tonight, instead of sitting on the couch, take even 20 mins of time during that show to put in a little work. Had to go down the driveway, so I decided to run as fast as I could. The crisp air felt so good on my lungs! Though, it wasn't far, it felt incredible! I could not keep that pace for very long, but sometimes it's nice to just give it all you got (even if it's only a few minutes).😊😉⁣

My second hot yoga class at @detoxyogawentzville. 🧘‍♀️ Wasn’t able to grab a photo while at the studio because it was too dark so I came home and tried to do a pose I saw online from someone else. I’m a little crooked but I didn’t break my neck or fall over. 😂 I love totally sweating out all the toxins. I lost 2 pounds during class. DAY 70 | My plan to run longer didn't happen.. Phillip and I were having a right lul this eve and super tired.. Must've been the swim.

Did do 4.2 miles though, did a bit of exploration in the fields.. We were gonna go further but we were losing the light and didn't wanna risk being out without lights.

We've said we will. Run together on Sundays, go out earlier and have some exploration runs where we go run somewhere new and find the public footpaths around here.

Quite enjoyed the run except for the part where an overly hyper dog ran up to us and the owner couldn't get a hold of it, scratched the sh*t out of my legs from jumping up at me. 🤬

Also having a better day following yesterday's wobble with the shorts.. Must say, I think I'm addicted to @tikiboofitness .. Already planning purchase of crops and selling all my kit to buy more 😂
It’s easy for me to get caught up in my mom routine of school and peanut butter sandwiches. To feel uninspired after a week of gymnastics, bedtimes, baths, singing the wheels on the bus song and apparently more peanut butter sandwiches (my kids love peanut butter 🤷‍♀️) I actively leave free time and plan adventures every weekend so we can shake things up. See something new, appreciate this beautiful world and make memories together to look back on and tell remember when stories ❤️ #oneyearfit #momstrong

Time for some hard truths. We all do it, but it's time we all became aware of how horrible it is.

Lack of sleep.

It is the WORST! 1in 2 people are sleep deprived. But what people dont fully grasp is we need that sleep (7-9hrs) is to repair & recover. You body will actually slower response time as if your drunk from lack of sleep.
What make it so bad is your 2 hunger hormones (Leptin & ghrelin) are thrown out of wack! Leptin the one that says your full decreases & ghrelin the one that says your hungry Increases.
So that means you eat more when your tired.. and more of crappier food!
Let's say you get 5-6hrs a night. Your setting yourself up to eat 200-300 MORE kcal per day. All just because your tired! That's an extra 10-15 lbs of extra fat a year! All that hard work you just did to lose those 15lbs you can gain from not getting enough sleep.

FINAL CALL! Today is it my friends. We are closing the registration at midnight tonight, so get in. I have no idea when you'll be able to register again.

We need foundational support to feel good in our lives. If we aren't focusing on stress, mindset, being Type A, perfectionists, and/or people pleasers, sleep, nutrition, exercise, and some supporting supplements, we have no business wondering why we aren't feeing well.

We’re still in sickville over here 😩🤦🏻‍♀️😳! I started feeling worse each day last week so I went to the doctor Friday. They tested me for the flu and it came back negative which meant somehow I caught an entirely different bug that the twins could catch. So the Hubs has been pulling double duty with them and I’m doing everything I can to get better fast... including lots of vitamin C like my Orange Ginger and Turmeric Smoothie 🧡. Next week has to be better... right???? If your family is under the weather too... I’ll drop the link to this yummy smoothie in my profile 😘.

My goal this week is to only have 1 day (Saturday) where I go over in points. So this is my breakfast this morning, pretty high in points (13) but so worth it. I have pre-tracked my whole day so I am not worried about going over my points later in the day!
