Ingredients
1/2 avocado
2 or 3 broccoli florets
Handful of kale
2 inches cucumber
1 stick celery
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Handful of fresh coriander
Pinch of rock salt
Kapha only add 1/2-1 inch fresh ginger root peeled
Enough water to blend

Method
Blend all ingredients, if you have a high speed blender, avatar and Kapha leave blending until warm.

Calming, zingy, oxygenating.

FENNEL & LEEK SOUP WITH SPINACH AND CARDAMON
This soup could be eaten by all of the doshas - Vata, Pitta, Kapha. Kapha add an inch of freshly grated ginger when sautéing the vegetables. I had this with homemade hummus on oatcakes, olives and a bowl of sunflower seeds. Vata if you are feeling undernourished, this soup would work well with some fresh white fish as a side dish, pan fried in ghee for a couple of minutes on each side, served with a squeeze of lemon, and on a bed of the steamed spinach that I use in the soup as a garnish.

Makes one portion

Ingredients
1 small red onion chopped
1/2 fennel bulb sliced
1/2 long good sized leek including green leaves sliced
1 clove garlic
Olive oil
Rock salt
1/2-1 tsp ground cardamon

Method
Sweat the onion, garlic fennel and leek (Kapha Dosha add 1 inch of freshly grated ginger too) in 1 tbs olive oil or ghee, as they soften sprinkle a couple of pinches of salt over them and the cardamon and give them a stir, then with a lid on sweat on a low heat to let them caramelise, stirring occasionally - takes a few minutes. Then add enough vegetable stock to come up over the vegetables by about an inch and simmer gently with a lid on for about 20 minutes, making sure the stock reduces but doesn’t evaporate. Test for seasoning and blend. Vata blend smooth, Kapha just roughly blend. I added steamed spinach and toasted sunflower seeds as a garnish.

Are you always tired after a day of traveling? Does this make you wonder why.
You sit on your ..... all day and still reach your destination all worn out.

Most of us know that traveling and especially high speed traveling can be tough on the body... There is an explanation!

We are flying back home tomorrow and to start the day as balanced as possible I made a travel routine that we always follow before, during and after traveling.

I posted the routine and the explanation on my website link in bio.
With some balancing bonus recipes to go along with it!
This is what we will be eating today... Dahl instruction video in stories! 🌱
Dahl
Recipe:
* 1 cup yellow Mung Dahl
* 1 cup basmati rijst
* 1 inch piece of fresh ginger grated
* 2 tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut
* 1 small handful cilantro leaves
* 1/2 cup water
* 3 tbsp mustard oil or other
* 4cm piece cinnamon bark
* 5 cardamom pods
* 5 whole cloves
* 10 black peppercorns
* 3 bay leaves
* 1/4 tsp curcuma
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 6 cups water

Directions:
1. Wash rice and mung dahl until water is clear.
2. Use a mortal and pastle to grind spices
3. Heat the oil in a large pot and add the spices. Heat until fragrant.
4. Place the coriander, coconut, ginger and 1/2 cup of water in a blender and pulse until liquified. Pour onto the spices and stir.
5. Add the remaining 6 cups of water, rice and Mung Dahl
6. Bring to a boil and let simmer until rice and mung Dahl are tender +/- 30 minutes.
7. Enjoy!

SPRING TONIC SOUP
This is a really good warming tonic soup for cold spring day. Also good for colds and sore throats, which people often come down with as we move from winter to spring. Vata add goats cheese to the soup when you serve it, Pittas swirl through some minty yogurt, using natural biolive yogurt, and Kapha finely chop some fresh chilli and add when sautéing the onions and garlic. Sauté chopped onion, garlic slithers, grated ginger root, then add celery, courgettes, and sauté until soft, add some vegetable stock, freshly picked nettle tops (top 4 inches of Young nettles before seeding), peas, 1/2-1 tsp ground turmeric, and season with black pepper. Full of nourishment, anti-bacterial, gently detoxifying, and the ginger will really help with sore throats and chesty colds.

It's been a year since I started walking the path of Tantra. I was in Chiangmai, Thailand and I found @tantrayogachiangmai
I was curious and went to their classes. At this time, I didn't really understand what is Tantra but I know it was a cosmo-vision really appealing to me🌎
Then I decided to go deeper into my understanding and spent almost 3 months at @durgastigerschool in Ecuador 🇪🇨 I became a RYT300 Tantra Yoga teacher and felt in love with this way of seeing the world. Actually Tantra gathered all of my beliefs since I am a was a little Hakima 👶🏻 Yeah, yeah, for real!
In my school in Ecuador, I practiced Tantra through yoga and understood the roots of it. I thought "why Tantra is associated with sexuality when it is much much more than that?" ⁉️
Yes, sexuality is a part of it as Tantra doesn't separate things from others but it's not only that! Sadly, it sounds like only "high sensations & guilty pleasures" have the attention of the Western world.
I made it a life mission to educate people on Tantra and how they can benefit from this vision in all the aspects of their life. I quit my corporate job as an investment banker and since, I am walking through the path of Tantra , teaching Tantra Yoga around the world and leading Hawaiian Cacao Ceremonies feat. Tantric rituals at Festivals (@hawaiitantrafestival @portugalspiritfestival). It is just the beginning of my new life mission. 💗✨

This stems from the fundamental concept of Tantric esotericism: the universe is alive and conscious at all levels; the psyche is one of its dimentions the deletion of which would annihilate the whole, as eliminating the heigth of an object would perforce destroy it."

" A Tantrist does not feel separated or removed from a tree or a forest. "Normal" man or woman may admit a tree is alive - the contrary would be difficult to prove -, but he or she does not see a living being in the tree, unlike some African tribes where men talk to the "spirit of the tree" before felling it.
