7/21/18 After losing 82 pounds in 8 months with exercise and counting calories, I’d hit a 6 week stall. I had been study the Keto/Low Carb lifestyle for over 6 months and decided to go for it and give it a try.
As I figured my macros and saw “ALL” that fat I should be eating I was a bit taken back...really? 😱How can this work? I was so scared I would gain weight back that I’d worked so hard to lose all year.
I did just as everything I’d studied and read about...Just go for it Paula! Trust the process.
Oh I’m soooo glad I did! With in the first week I could feel the arthritis inflammation decrease in my body. My energy level ramped up! Seriously a HUGE difference! My diabetes/insulin continued to improve. Hello...NO need for medication now! My sleep at night greatly improved. My battle with
Pseudotumor Cerebri improved and currently my medication I’m taking is only 1/3 of what I had taken since diagnosed in 2012!
I lost an additional 46 lbs in 4 months bringing me to my ultimate weightloss goal of 128 lbs gone!
In the past 6 months I’ve never had a “cheat meal”. Several reasons I have never eaten off plan.
1.) I’m completely satisfied with what I’m eating with Keto.
2.) I honestly don’t trust myself. If I allow myself to experiment “off plan” I fear I won’t get back on. I know myself too well. As a lifetime battle with food addiction I simply just CAN’T.GO.THERE.
3.) Keto Life is the best way to file my mind and body!
If your curious about Keto/Low Carb eating I’m here to share my experience and journey.
Gaining my health is the GREATEST GIFT EVER! ♥️💪♥️
